When you' have had your fill of Brandenburg Tor, Potsdamer Platz or Museum Island, you should discover the north-east of Berlin.

Current information about the corona virus in Berlin.

Berlin is not currently planning to ban accommodation.

Berlin continues to welcome you! Hotels, restaurants, cultural institutions and event organisers have worked with the city to establish various solutions to ensure a responsible and safe visit to Berlin. Time slots ensure regulated streams of visitors and in restaurants tables are moved apart.

A closing hour has also been introduced. This means that restaurants and shops in Berlin, including late-night bars, must remain closed between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.; during this time, only a maximum of five people from different households or people from two households may meet outdoors in public spaces. This rule will apply from 10 to 31 October for the time being. The discos and clubs are also closed.

Since the situation is constantly changing and there is currently no uniform, nationwide regulation, please note the rules of your individual federal state before travelling within Germany. This is particularly important if you come from a region or are travelling to a region where a particularly large number of people have become newly infected.

Persons from inner-German risk areas may only be accommodated in some federal states if they can show a negative test result that is not older than 48 hours.

The RKI (Robert Koch-Institut) publishes the current case numbers of the federal states on a daily basis. Before you visit Berlin, please note in particular the return travel regulations of the individual federal states.
