Rieselfelder, Liegekur and Runkel beetroot
The Blankenfelde Municipal Estate in the North of Berlin
The permanent exhibition "Rieselfelder, Liegekur und Runkelrüben - Das Stadtgut Blankenfelde im Norden Berlin" has been given a newly designed exhibition section entitled "Blankenfelde im Naturpark Barnim".
In a cooperation project between the Museum Pankow and the StadtGut Blankenfelde e. V. association, an exhibition on the development of the village of Blankenfelde and its immediate surroundings on today's city border in the north of Berlin was already created in 2016.
The new part of the exhibition focuses on the changes in the cultural landscape over the past thirty years. Actors involved in landscape use have their say, asking questions about interactions between use and change in the landscape against the background of noticeable climate changes. Questions about future development paths for the village and its surroundings are also touched upon.
The exhibition can be visited during café hours. Admission is free.
