In the midst of the pulsating Berlin and yet quite comfortably nestled in the romantic setting of the historic building ensemble of a 19th century brewery - today's creative location KulturBrauerei - lies the Lucia Christmas Market. From Monday, 27.11.2023 to Friday, 22.12.2023, the Lucia Christmas Market with its Nordic-Scandinavian flair will once again enchant the KulturBrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg into one of the city's most beautiful Christmas attractions. The Lucia Christmas Market offers family-friendly deals, special gift ideas, cultural programs and culinary treats in a historic setting.
Every day from 17:00 to 18:00 Santa Claus comes and distributes sweets to the little guests. And from 20:00 to 21:00, a walking angel along with his wishes envelops visitors with joie de vivre, wisdom and protection.
Who would like to bring his musical talent together with pre-Christmas soul to the sound, is all the more on Thursdays between 19:00 and 20:00 to the merry choir singing at the only correct place.
On December 13, as is customary in Scandinavian countries, the Lucia festival celebrates the namesake of the Christmas market, the light-bringer of the dark winter season, who gives warmth and security, makes dreams grow and gives hope to those who are worried. In honor of Saint Lucia, there will be a procession of the Luciakör through the courtyards between 18:00 and 19:00, ending with the allsâng of international Christmas carols.
