The meadow village (Angerdorf) Niederschönhausenwas founded around 1220 and was mentioned in documents for the first time in 1375.Nothing remains from the former village complex along the present-day Dietzgenstraße.The Brose Park at the Dietzgenstraße has been open to the public since 1920.TheKüster Palm House situated there(today: Brosehaus, Dietzgenstraße 42) is used by the »Freundeskreis der Chronik Pankow e. V.« (circle of friends of the chronic of Pankow) for exhibitions on local history.The present appearance of the Brose Park is from the years 1985 to 1987.
