PANDA Platforma
PANDA e. V. has existed as a non-profit association for over ten years at a central location for Berlin culture in the small courtyard of the Kulturbrauerei. Founded in 2000 as a Russian chamber theater, PANDA developed into an interdisciplinary art, politics and culture platform with exhibitions, readings, concerts, political discussions, cinema evenings and performances.
In 2018, the PANDA team is developing a new concept. From exhibitions to artist talks, political discussions, theater performances to avant-garde experiments, current global beats, futuristic performances, queer and LGBT projects and social activism - the program is diverse and aims to reach audiences from different cultural and social circles.
The three pillars of our concept are:
- PANDA as a place in Berlin where alternative art can develop continuously and without economic constraints, courage to experiment
- political and cultural education and exchange
- networking in the neighborhood
seating capacity: approx. 70 seats and 120 standing places
