Wochenmarkt Alt-Pankow
The weekly market Alt Pankow, on the old village green at the parish church "Zu den vier Evangelisten", exists since 1857 and is considered the oldest still existing weekly market in Berlin. It offers fresh food such as eggs, fish (sea bass, sea bream, etc.), a wide range of sausages (Thuringian bratwurst, liver sausage, etc.), fried chicken, honey, as well as sauerkraut and Spreewald gherkins. But you can also buy other useful products of daily life, such as masks, textiles, bags, baskets, kitchen utensils and placemats. Visit this lively market, which is an integral part of Pankow's history.
