Jazz am Helmholtzplatz welcomes the American pianist Joel Holmes on 31 January 2020 at the Kühlspot Social Club, In den Steinmetzhöfe. Joel Holmes has performed on many of the world's great stages, he was at times director of the Baltimore School of the Arts and has received two Grammy nominations. He is accompanied by two outstanding Berlin jazz musicians. Peter Gall on drums (Jazz Theory for Peter Gall's first CD: "Exceptionally Mature Firstling") and Peter Nitsch on double bass, who studied at the Jazzinistitut Berlin and then continued his studies at the Manhattan School of Music. Experience three wonderful jazz musicians live in concert.
