Bike tour: Along the Berlin Wall - The Wall Bike Tour

On 15 kilometres between the site of the fall of the Berlin Wall on Bornholmer Strasse and the government district, the Berlin Wall bicycle tour follows the visible and invisible traces left behind by the former border in Berlin. Along the "Antifascist Protection Wall", as the GDR leadership officially calls the Wall, the bicycle tour leads to former border crossings, through the Mauerpark and to the Berlin Wall Memorial in Bernauer Strasse, the only intact section of the Wall including the watchtower. The participants experience the human dimension of German division and some of the political contexts of the time at original locations.
