Saarbrücker Straße in the historic royal city is typical of Wilhelminian Berlin. Narrator Barbara Lemko Misselwitz is happy to guide you through her Saarbrücker Straße from Schönhauser Allee past the old breweries Königstadt and Bötzow within sight of the water tower to the baking factory.
After the guided tour, the tour continues into the Berliner Zimmer, the middle room between the front and back of the building, typical of the Wilhelminian era. She has turned it into a small private museum. There you can immerse yourself in the world of the Prenzlauer Berger Boheme, where you can have tea, talk about the neighborhood, art and the world, and listen to records from Krug to Piaf.
