Permanent exhibition Gegenentwürfe (Alternative concepts)

In the Museum Pankow

Prenzlauer Berg before, during and after the fall of the Wall. The permanent exhibition "Gegenentwürfe" of the Museum Pankow follows the developments and themes beyond the turn of the epoch of 1989/90 and examines the continuities and breaks in East Germany using the concrete example of seven places in Prenzlauer Berg. It brings to life the counter-designs to the prevailing real socialism lived in Prenzlauer Berg, but also to the new social and political reality after the Peaceful Revolution of 1989 and reunification.
