Arnswalder Platz

The former director of town planning Richard Ermisch gave this square, which developed at the beginning of the 20th century, its present appearance. The green area is characterised by old trees and a monumental fountain. The square has been a protected building since 1977.
The fertility fountain in the centre of the square is commonly known as the "fountain of the bull", a name derived from the two lateral statues of the bulls. It was renovated in 2010 and restored to its original appearance.
A Saturday market in the square and an active use as a recreation area by the Bötzowviertel district characterize the current atmosphere.
