Civil life around 1900 - Museum Pankow - Location Heynstraße

The permanent exhibition in the former apartment of the wicker chair manufacturer Fritz Heyn, features civil life in the North East of Berlin and in the 1900s, taking the example of the family Heyn and the inhabitants of this apartment building.

On the inside of the apartment building, you can see original and restored staircase paintings. Onthe belétage,you will find two bourgeoisie representation roomsof the end of the 19th century with completely original preserved stucco and paintings. You can visit the historically protected combination of the apartment house, front garden and garden courtyard with gazebo during the opening hours of the museum. Guided tours are also possible outside the opening hours after booking by phone.
