On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, photos of the Berlin Wall by photographer Manfred Paul. The book "Mauer" is published to accompany the exhibition. Manfred Paul shows in his pictures the transience of things. His pictures are touching and almost poetic. When Manfred Paul began to photograph in East Berlin at the beginning of the 1970s, it was above all city photographs that symbolically depicted an attitude to life in the East in view of the Wall.
