Grayscales. Life in the GDR
In the Museum Pankow
From 6 June 2019, Pankow's District Museum will be showing photographs by photographer Jürgen Hohmuth in a special exhibition at the "Sebastian Haffner" Culture and Education Centre. His mostly black-and-white photographs from the 1970s and 1980s document a panopticon of scenes from everyday life in the GDR, supplemented by literary texts and historical objects.
